To develop the Lekkeroord Christian Campsite into a Christ-centred facility
(see Matt 19:14) with the management and infrastructure that can accommodate: youth camps (School Leaver’s Camps, Summer Camps, etc.), leadership training conferences, retreats, men and women camps, marriage enrichment seminars, Christian outreaches, accommodate visits to East London by missionaries, Gap year programs and Placement of Christians in the market place.
Create an environment in which camps, conferences, seminars, courses and other activities can be held. |

TERMS & CONDITIONS   BOOKINGS 
BOOKINGS
If you make a booking for a number of people(e.g.: 100 people) and you arrive with only a portion of those numbers(e.g.: 30 people) you will be held liable for the payment of the original booking(e.g.: 100 people). 
DEPOSITS
Your first deposit must be paid on the date stipulated on your booking form. Failure to pay your deposit may result in cancellation of your reservation. No refunds will be paid if you cancel your camp within 30 days of your camp. 
BEDDING/CUTLERY
We do not supply bedding, cutlery and crockery, please bring your own. 
TOILETRIES
We do not provide toiletries. Please make sure you provide your own toilet paper and toiletries. 
PERSONNEL
Please take note, we do not supply personnel to man and work the camp facilities(e.g.: kitchen). You or your team are responsible for placing personnel in the available facilities. There will be a stock count on arrival and before departure of all equipment within and belonging to the facilities provided. All equipment is to be cleaned and damages/losses to be replaced/paid for before departure. 
GENERAL INFORMATION
No pets are allowed by campers. All damage to property must be reported and settled before departure. No music other that Praise and Worship will be allowed. Music that has a negetive influence on others will not be allowed. No Disco’s (sokkies) will be allowed. Please respect other groups that might be on the campsite at all times. 
SAFETY
Lekkeroord is a campsite and every group must be responsible, and follow our safety protocols. There should be no noise after 23h00. All groups and their leaders are responsible to make sure that their group members are in their rooms and not running around on the campsite after 23h00. We have a security camera system installed. The system is only effective if the following rules are adhered to: (1) Doors to be locked at all times. (2) Camp gates are to be closed between 21h00 - 06h00 and not opened for anyone. (3) In case of an emergency, report to the security office, manager or person on duty. The person in charge of kitchen personnel must take charge of the gas stoves. (1) No children\students are allowed to work with any gas equipment. (2) If you do not understand any of the instructions given to you by the safety personnel please ask again do not stay quiet. (3) If someone is delegated to work with the gas other than the responsible person and an accident occurs, LekkerOord or it's staff will not be liable for any loss or damage. (4) Your personnel are responsible for your catering at your own risk. Please take note: You are bound to all terms and conditions of Indemnity, provided to you when booking, by your signature. |
